Okay, I just had to share and it has been far to long since my last post saying I hoped to be back for good this time.
I attempted my first mixed media collage for my BFFs birthday. She said she loved it. It was done on an 11 x 14-inch canvas that I pre-treated with two coats of gesso. An online angel sent me many of the items I used on it...the quotes were ones I found here and there online. The design, if you can call it that, is all my own.

First mixed media attempt...
I hope to be back online for good this time. My health took a turn for the worse and I wound up back in the hospital.
I will be doing some digital work (sorry, but I'll be using my old digis...but they are still goodies). I plan on getting into more rubber stamping. So I expect to be expanding in both areas.
My hopes are to get into more mixed media. I have a couple of projects planned already. I hope all of your have remained patient with me and will continue t0 look for regular (at least weekly for now) updates. I have missed my connections with all of you!!! Big hugs for all of you!
